Bela is a village in Badiyadka Panchayath, Kasargod District in Kerala state. The main languages spoken are; Malayalam, Tulu, Konkani, Kannada and Marathi, Apart from the agriculture, most of the people are daily wage workers. People born here are now working in various parts of the world in various professions especially in the Gulf countries.
Bela has some well established schools, Temple, Church and Mosque.
